Laser Fractional CO2:
The word “Fractional” means using an array of precise micro-beams to treat columns of skin rather than whole areas. The benefits of the fractional technique is a shorter recovery time and less patient discomfort during the procedure, when compared to non-fractional methods. Keeping this in mind, this technique is a unique local skin treatment utilizing bipolar radiofrequency energy to treat the skin. The heating caused by this technique encourages the collagen fibers in the skin to contract while stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin without overheating the skin. This feature creates microthermal zones with a healthy skin around, which also trigger rapid healing.
Even with a single treatment anyone can see immediate visible improvement in texture and glow of their skin. However, for the optimal results, we typically recommend a series of three fractional RF resurfacing sessions spaced over a period of six months. What is unique about RF is that it can be used on all skin types without risks of hyperpigmentation.
